Our answers to your questions

Reservations
Your booking will only be confirmed once we have received your deposit, which is deductible from the total cost of your stay, and once you have received the campsite’s confirmation e-mail.
You can take out cancellation insurance. This cancellation insurance protects you in the event of external circumstances preventing you from enjoying your holiday. The insurance must be taken out when you make your booking, and we invite you to consult the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance beforehand.
Rates and payment
We accept payment by credit card, bank transfer, holiday vouchers and cash (on site). Please note that we do not accept bank cheques less than 30 days before the date of your stay.
For rental accommodation, if the booking is made 30 days before your arrival date, a deposit of 30% will be required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of your stay.
If the booking is made on D-30, you will be asked to pay the full amount of your stay.
For pitches, a deposit is also required at the time of booking. This varies according to the length and amount of your stay. The balance of the stay must be paid on arrival at the campsite at the latest.

Sheets and towels are not normally provided, but can be hired from reception if you need them (prices on the website).
Only one vehicle is permitted to park inside the campsite. All additional vehicles must park outside the campsite.
No, it is not possible to add a barnum or tent next to your accommodation. Additional tents are possible on camping pitches, up to a limit of one small tent per pitch.
Arrival / departure
Arrivals are possible from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. for pitches and chalets.
Reception is closed between 11am and 2pm.
Would you like to arrive before 2pm? This is only possible on prior request and for people who have booked and are staying at the campsite for several days. If you are staying for just one night and do not have a reservation, a supplement of €8 will be charged.
Would you like to arrive between 7pm and 9pm? This is possible on prior request, with booking via the website (booking before 5pm for arrival on the same day). Please indicate your request in the ‘comments’ section when you make your booking. In return, we will send you the gate code and your pitch number.
Arrivals after 7pm are not permitted without prior reservation.
If you plan to arrive after 6.30pm, please inform us in advance by email or telephone. Depending on the situation, we will tell you how to proceed.
Please note that the campsite gates are closed between 10.30pm and 7am (and that’s not just an expression, they really are closed!). No vehicles are therefore allowed to circulate during these hours in order to preserve the peace and sleep of the campers. A few unsupervised parking spaces are available outside the campsite. It will not be possible to move onto your pitch after 10pm, even without a vehicle.
Pitches must be vacated before 12am.
For rental accommodation (fitted tents, mobile homes), departure must be before 10.30 a.m.
In the event of an extension to the initial stay, campsite users are invited to contact us at least 24 hours before the theoretical departure date in order to check the availability of the pitch and to pay for the additional stay.
Late departures may be possible. Outside all school holiday periods (spring and summer holidays) and for weekend stays of at least 2 nights, departure is possible until 3pm (in rental accommodation and pitches), at no extra charge. To take advantage of this service, please specify it on your arrival. If you are staying during a bridge period, this late departure is only possible if you leave on the last day of the bridge.
Facilities and services
Our campsite is equipped with European plugs (EU plugs). Don’t forget to bring your adaptors! A large extension lead is also handy.
Each socket has a maximum power rating. At the Côté Vercors campsite, this is 6 amps with a voltage of 230V (i.e. around 1380 watts included in the price of the pitch). If necessary and on request, you can opt for a higher wattage of 10 amps (i.e. around 2300 watts).
Make sure that the sum of the wattages of your appliances does not exceed the 6A limit, as this could lead to overloading and power cuts. To find out, if several appliances are used at the same time, you need to add up the wattage of each appliance to check whether the total exceeds 1380 W (6 amps) or 2300 W (10 amps). The wattage is indicated on the appliance labels, but here are a few wattages to give you an idea:
A small fridge: around 100 W to 150 W
A lamp: between 10 W and 60 W
A microwave: around 800 W to 1200 W
An electric kettle: 1500 W (ouch, it’s better to heat your water in a pan…)
Laptop computer: approximately 50 W to 100 W
Television: approximately 50 W to 200 W
No, the campsite does not have a swimming pool. The nearest inter-communal swimming pool is in Saint-Jean-en-Royans, 7 km from the campsite (10 min by car).
Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi access in most areas of the campsite. The access codes are shown on the back of the map distributed at reception.
2025 will be our first season at the campsite, so we’ll have to see what we come up with over the course of the season. As we prefer the peace and quiet of our campers, the activities we propose will be gentle and relatively ‘quiet’, such as yoga or bingo on our shady terrace. We also encourage our guests to get involved, so don’t hesitate to suggest activities.
We do not offer a bike hire service. We only offer canoe hire.
Car hire is available and can be very useful for exploring the panoramic roads of the Vercors.
People who know how to swim can swim in the river under their own responsibility. Swimming is not supervised and access is outside the campsite perimeter. Due to the depth of the water, swimming is not recommended for children.
If you stay at the campsite for at least three nights, you can ask to hire a fridge. Please note that stocks are limited. To guarantee your reservation, please tick the box when you book online or let us know by telephone. A deposit will be required.
Campers also have access to a shared fridge in the relaxation area (the room next to reception) at no extra charge.
Visitors
Visitors may be admitted to the campsite subject to certain conditions: they must inform us in advance, there must not be too many of them, they must park their vehicle outside the campsite, and they must pay any additional charges on arrival. Please also note: visitors’ dogs are not allowed on the campsite.
Regulations and safety
Our campsite is enclosed by fencing throughout. Access is reserved for customers via an automatic code barrier.

Access and transport
Yes, our campsite is accessible by train from the Saint Hilaire – Saint Nazaire station in the commune of Saint Hilaire du Rosier.
The station is 2.5 km from the campsite (5 min by car, 30 min on foot).
From Lyon Part-Dieu, the journey takes 1 hour 40 minutes, with a 40-minute connection at Valence.
From Grenoble, 45 minutes (direct).
A regional coach can take you from Valence or Saint Hilaire – Saint Nazaire station to the village centre of Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans: route D05 Le Vercors – Valence.
Easy, fast and environmentally friendly, the train is the perfect way to enjoy a natural getaway. Don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements, because we’re really keen to promote camping holidays for car-free city dwellers in search of nature!
There are a few parking spaces outside the campsite which are not supervised. Inside the campsite, only one car may be parked per accommodation or per pitch.
