Cycling

For unforgettable rides around the Vercors region. By Mountain bike or on the path of the Tour de France: One of our partners, GTV (grand travers of Vercors), offers many tour proposals. The maps are available at the receiption.

But also family tours are possible. For example on the  cycle path (V63) from Grenoble to St. Nazaire en Royans, follows the river Isére, and if you want you could go further to the Rhône and the ViaRhona.

And if you want to try an electric bicycle, ask at the reception, we propose this year with the shop:

Of course with a special price for our clients of the camping!

And why not to try a electrical scooter for all grounds? For the whole family, up of 12 years, Philippe et Cécile de 2 Roues Évasion, take you on a ride with a start of the Camping. Have some fun with friends or your family and discover the region in another way.

Motorcycling

The Vercors region is a wonderful spot for motorcycling. You find passes like in the Alpes, but the weather is much better.

There are so many motorbike tours possible, that we don’t have enough space to write about it.

If you need some roadbooks or insider tips for the best tour, please come to the reception. We (Christiane and Thomas) ride our own motorbikes and we would be happy to help you.

You could also use our full equipped garage for some maintenance.

Hiking Trails

Countless hiking trails can be found in the Vercors. Some of them start directly in St. Nazaire en Royans.
With our partner GTV (Grand Traversées du Vercors) and the tourist office we offer you maps at the reception.

Ask also at the reception for recommendations, depending on the length and level of difficulty, we will be happy to suggest hikes or easy walks.

Canyoing & Escalade

We have a partnership with Vercors & Cie, an agency who propose tours of canyoing and via ferrata in the Vercors!

Fishing

Located on the banks of a trout river called the Bourne, you can catch “whopping” brown trout as well as perch, zander, pike and more…

The Isère, primarily a carp river, is less than a mile from the campsite.

Starting from this year, you could buy you fishing card at the reception. We are the partner of the frensh association for fishing. 

Pétanque

Pétanque is the one of the favorate activities in the south of France.

Come and play with the frenchies a match on the great pétanque terrain just in front of the camping. And you will see, how funny it is.

Surely we could find you some training lesson with our french guests.

You could rent the pétanque bullets at the reception.

Canoe-Kayak

You can paddle down the Bourne river to the Isère and admire the beautiful nature. Access to water is directly at the campsite. No motor boats are permitted on the Bourne. Low power electric motors only. This means peace and silence for the canoeist. You can rent canoes from the local club less than 1 km from the campsite.

We propose you 2 Canoes (each for 2 pers and 1 child) directly at the camping.

Please ask at the reception for rental, the access to the river is possible directly from the camping.
